You can browse this entire site without an account, and without telling us who you are.

If you make an account, we store your email address and the things you choose to save: your ratings, your list, the games you have played, and any reminders you set.

We do not sell your data. We do not track you across other websites. We show no advertising today.

Your email address, and which method you signed in with.

If you sign in with Google or Twitch, we ask that service only for your basic profile and your email address. We never receive your password, and we cannot act on your account there.

The things you save on the site: ratings you give a game, games on your list, games you mark as played, reminders you ask for, notifications we send you, and where you stopped watching a video so you can pick it up again.

Any comment you post, with the display name and picture on your account. Comments are public.

Your display name. Pick a first name or a nickname rather than anything you would not want stored.

While you are signed in, the service that runs our sign-in keeps a session record, and that record includes your IP address and which browser you used. It is how a session can be listed and revoked. We do not copy it anywhere else and nothing on this site reads it.

We do not ask for your real name, your address, or a payment method, because nothing on this site needs them.

Two counters, and neither is attached to a person.

The first counts how many times each game page has been opened, and how often each game has been searched for. It is stored as one row per game. There is no column in it for a name, an account, an address, a device, or a session, so those numbers cannot be traced back to anybody, including by us.

The second records what was typed into the search box, with the number of results it returned. It tells us that people searched for a game we do not carry yet, which is how the catalogue grows. No identifier is sent with it.

Please do not type anything private into the search box. It is a search box, but the text is kept.

One exception, and it is worth naming. If you like or dislike a video without an account, your browser makes up a random id for itself and sends it with that reaction, so the same browser cannot vote twice. It is a random number rather than anything about you, it is never joined to an account, and clearing your site data ends it.

The advertise page stores what its form asks for: your name, your email address, your company, its website, and what you want to run. Your role and your country too, if you give them.

Only the site's admins can read an application. Your email is used for one thing, replying to it. It is never added to the mailing list, and it is never shared.

Nothing is sent to you automatically. There is no confirmation email and no newsletter.

If you never sign in, this site sets no cookies of its own at all. Not one.

A sign-in cookie, set only once you sign in. It keeps you signed in and it is what makes an account work at all. Signing out removes it.

One short-lived cookie during a sign-in itself. It exists only for the round trip, and it is there to make sure the sign-in that comes back is the one you started.

Your sign-in cookie, once you are signed in. We use it to keep you signed in and to keep your saved games, watch history and searches on this device separate from anyone else who signs in here.

There are no advertising cookies and no analytics cookies on this site.

Separately, the site keeps a few things in your browser that are never sent to us at all: games you saved before signing in, games you disliked, the pages you recently visited, where you paused a video, and your recent searches. Those live on your device. Clearing your site data removes them and we never see any of it.

Supabase stores the database and runs sign-in. Vercel hosts the site and provides its visitor counts, which are measured without cookies and do not follow anyone between websites.

Amazon Web Services stores and delivers the images.

Videos are embedded from YouTube, and the detail matters. Trailers and the gameplay shelf load nothing until you click them. The video page loads its player as soon as the page opens, and the moving background on the home page loads one too. The home page uses YouTube's no-cookie player; the video page and the trailer tiles use the ordinary one, which can set YouTube's own cookies. Either way, once a player loads, YouTube sees your IP address and its own privacy policy applies.

Google and Twitch are involved only if you choose that sign-in button, and only for the moment it takes to sign you in.

Game facts come from IGDB. That request is made by our servers, not by your browser, so IGDB is never told who is reading the page.

Our brand font is served from this site rather than fetched from Google, so loading a page here does not tell Google you visited.

Nobody else. We do not sell, rent or share your data with advertisers or data brokers.

The site currently loads no advertising script, sets no advertising cookie, and makes no request to an ad network.

The ability to show ads is built, and switched off. If that changes, this page will say so before it happens, and anything that requires your consent will ask for it.

There is a delete button on your account settings page. It removes your sign-in and everything attached to it immediately, and we cannot undo it.

Four things it cannot reach, because none of them is attached to an account: a message you sent through the contact form, a note you sent with the Share Feedback button, an application to advertise, and an email you left on a game page asking to be told when gameplay lands. Email us and we will remove those too.

We will also tell you everything we hold about you if you ask. Ask from the address the account uses, so we can be sure it is you.

This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly create accounts for them. If a child has made one, email us and we will remove it.

This page changes when the site changes, and the date at the top moves with it.

If a change means we start collecting something we do not collect today, that is a change worth telling you about rather than quietly editing in.
