The Amazing Spider-Man 2

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is an open-world third-person action-adventure game set in a version of Manhattan. Players control Spider-Man, web-swinging and wall-crawling across the city while completing story missions and optional street-level activities such as stopping crimes and rescuing civilians. Combat uses a free-flowing style with counterattacks and gadgets, and a Web-Rush mechanic lets players plan movement and strikes. A Hero and Menace reputation system rewards responding to crimes and penalizes ignoring them, which affects how the city and its enforcers treat Spider-Man. It is based on the continuity of the 2012 game rather than the films.

Story

A year after the death of his Uncle Ben, Peter Parker continues to fight crime in New York City as Spider-Man, still searching for the criminal who got away. When that trail is cut short by a serial killer who targets other criminals, Spider-Man sets out to bring the so-called Carnage Killer to justice. His pursuit draws him into a citywide turf war among rival gangs and the rise of a privatized enforcement group backed by powerful business interests. Along the way Spider-Man crosses paths with figures such as an idolizing engineer, a seasoned hunter who offers to mentor him, and his ailing friend Harry Osborn, each of whom complicates his fight to protect the city.
